I was diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis with bowel involvement. After some research and consultations with different doctors, I decided to undergo surgery under the care of Dr. Vivek Salunke. Dr. Salunke performed a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with Bowel Disc Excision — an intricate and delicate procedure that demanded immense skill and precision. Throughout the entire process, from diagnosis to recovery, Dr. Salunke and his team were very professional, compassionate, and reassuring. His calm and confident approach put me at ease. He took the time to clearly explain every aspect of my condition answering all my questions patiently. I flew from Oman to Mumbai for this surgery and he and his team provided all possible support in terms of giving timely appointments considering I flew from abroad, arranging MRI on priority, giving multiple hospital choices to perform the surgery as per my comfort, etc. Dr. Salunkhe’s approach and the way he explained everything patiently without any haste gave so much confidence and comfort that I could enter the operation theatre with full faith in him. Surgery went well and entire experience was quite smooth. The post-operative care and follow-up were equally good - I experienced a smooth recovery. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Vivek Salunke.
