I recently had an excellent experience with Dr. Vivek Salunke for my Endometriosis surgery. Started with an initial video consultation online with the doctor and decided to travel from Canada to Mumbai to get it done. From the moment I arrived, Dr.Salunke and his team made me feel comfortable and well cared for. He listened attentively to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. His excellent knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and thorough approach gave me full confidence in my treatment. Dr.Salunke and his team followed up multiple times after the surgery to check on how I was doing. 2025 has been absolute hell for me. I had pelvic pain, constipation, painful bowel movement, nausea, migraines, heavy periods, blood clots-the size of my palm. I went to a doctor and had first laparoscopy. She diagnosed me with endometriosis but did nothing to help with disease. I ended up connecting with Dr salunke in July who suggested excision and guided me in the right direction. I did end up getting proper surgery done this September under his care at Nalini. From Dr salunke, to the anaesthesiologist, to the assistant doctors, to the staff- Everyone was incredibly helpful, compassionate and caring. This illness cripples and steals the joy from you. I have had major surgery and was disharged two days back and still I have been receiving calls for followup etc. I would definitely recommend. The only negative experience on the last day of discharge was when I asked one of the "Moushi" for sponge bath and she was curt and rude and refused saying that I should now stand and shower because they are asked to do so for 2 days only. I had to complaint to one of the sister's who sorted it out for me. To put things in perspective- I was scared of bending, low on confidence and already hesitant to seek help despite having- excision, bowel disc excision AND shaving etc. I feel a bit more sensitivity might be needed.
