I had a laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Vivek Salunke at Lilavati Hospital, assisted by Dr. Shinjini Pande, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better team. Dr. Salunke took the time to clearly diagnose and explain the procedure, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease going into surgery. Doctors Swara and Jasesh have been in constant touch both pre and post-op, which has made recovery feel so much more supported. It really shows how experienced and caring Dr. Salunke and his team is. The staff at Lilavati were wonderful (a big thank you to Sisters Alpha and Angel!) and everyone there spoke so highly of Dr. Salunke as well. Also grateful to the management team at Nalini hospital, especially Dr. Madhu and Priyanka, for coordinating everything so smoothly. I usually don't tend to write any reviews until I am extremely overwhelmed or unhappy. This is bit long but one of the best decision and experience. I had very severe pain in my pelvic area, back and extreme pain while passing stool. I was suddenly hospitalized and was diagnosed with Grade 4 Endometriosis and Adenomyosis in my MRI report. My previous Dr explained all the risk and suggested open surgery to cure this. But my first surgery was only open hysterectomy performed and that Dr has actually left endometriosis untreated. Post which I had continuous severe pain and increased rectum pain. Then I visited Endometriosis Specialist and was suggested for immediate surgery when I was just a month half from my previous hysterectomy surgery. Then I researched on Google and found about Dr Vivek Salunke. I visited him for second opinion and he guided me with all the details, cleared my doubts on my first failed surgery and we waited for almost 2 weeks to see if medicine helped to avoid immediate another surgery. But eventually we had to plan a Laproscopic surgery to treat my disease and pain. I was guided with all the details of my surgery and I can say from my previous multiple hospital and Drs visit experience that this is totally different. He takes care of his patients as a family. DR VIVEK and his team Dr Swara, Dr Madhu, Ms Priyanka, the nursing team, the staff all are so welcoming and take care of you as a family. I have never seen after discharge any hospital or Dr or his team will upfront followup but Dr Swara, Ms Priyanka and Dr Madhu followed up with me on my recovery, if any issues and guided me. This shows dedication towards the patient and their recovery. I am still in recovery phase due to back to back surgery within two months. But major pain has been tackled now it's wait time for recovery. I am really greatful to Dr Vivek Salunke and his wonderful team. My Journey has been tough from server pain to finding a right Dr. I would definitely recommend to visit Dr Vivek for any Gynac / women related issues. I was diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis stage 4 with bowel involvement, and undergoing surgery with Dr. Salunke and his team was the best decision I made. From the first consultation to recovery, everything went extremely smoothly. Dr. Salunke, Dr. Madhu, Dr. Swara, and Mrs. Priyanka were always in touch, guiding me at every step, answering all my questions, and checking on my progress. Their constant support made the entire experience stress-free. The TPA and cashless process was handled efficiently, and my claim was approved without any hassle. Since five years I was suffering from severe abdominal pain radiating my entire lower body which was disrupting my normal life. I consulted many doctors, took different medicines several times but nothing helped. Then I got Dr. Vivek Saluke's reference from internet and honestly initially I got overwhelmed seeing all positive reviews. After getting treatment under his supervision now I understand that why everyone talks about only good things about him. In this time, it is very rare to find a doctor who takes care of his patient beyond professionalism , time, money everything. Dr Vivek Salunke is not only an expert doctor , he is a very generous human being. I have undergone Laproscopic Myomectomy for Deep Endometrosis Excision , Fibroid tissue removal and Bowel Surgery at Lilavati hospital, Mumbai under Dr Salunke. From the first day of consulation sir has listened to my every discomfort , he has answered all our doubts, even we have discussed about future all solutions or planning. Not a single time him or his team was unresponsive . There was so many instances where we realised that Vivek sir deals his patient very closely. After the surgery , I had received utmost care not only from him , his entire team and also all the medical team of Lilavati hospital. Its been two weeks now from my surgery and I do not have any discomfort in me , almost recovered fully. I would like to say all the women who are really suffering from any discomfort in the period cycle , please listen to your body and consult an expert doctor like Dr. Vivek Salunke and this kind of diagnosis cannot be done by any gyneac . This needs experience and expertise.
